Farewell To The Mariner

Early this morning, we bade a fond farewell to our floating home of the past two months, and stepped ashore in Sydney.  We will be in the city for the next three days before flying to Uluru in the center of Australia for a couple of days, then one more night in Sydney before flying home.  I took this picture this evening from our hotel room window, as the Mariner made her way towards the harbour bridge and the Opera House on her way to the open sea with a whole new load of bright-eyed, excited passengers on board.  It was sad to see her go!
