Meaningless vote

Having kicked the can down the road for another five weeks, the MPs are back in London to vote on a deal that has not changed a single word in that time.

May is so totally mentally disturbed that she ought to be removed by personal Royal Sovereign command.

202 votes for her deal, 432 against and now that she can't blame the EU for the disgrace, she is picking on a little, often somewhat pompous but generally good at his job, Speaker of the House and threatening him.

Pathetic PM, pathetic Government, pathetic, Conservative Party, pathetic Leader of the Opposition, pathetic Labour party and but for the SNP and the single Green party MP, a pathetic opposition working in the oldest and worst Mothers of Democracy. And I hate to add, aided and abetted even if only in silence by a pathetic large bunch of ignorant everyday voters. In any other country in the world, there would be riots on the streets. I'm not one for violent destructive riots but I would support every form of obstructive riot that brought the country to a standstill. Human blockades of all ports and airports, general strikes ...... the whole works.

This goes against everything I believe in now but in the interest of fairness here the "Contra " argument from yesterday's EU27 view on the UK & Brexit. I do want a second referendum but sadly believe the divisions will not be solved. Many Brexiteers are simply too pig ignorant and unable/don't even want to comprehend a single sentence explaining Europe:

"Please stay Europe needs you - security, economy, culture - you simply belong to it.

A new referendum must be held so that the citizens can decide what they really want because, unlike 3 years ago, this time people know exactly what to expect. At that time, on the other hand, the Leave campaign was built on lies and deceit. Irresponsible egotistic politicians had stirred up anti-Europe hysteria out of pure selfish striving for power with false accusations and “full-bodied” promises, and then when it got serious, they simply took off.

Now the divorce treaty is on the table and it shows the fantasies of the Brexit confectionery shop with its unicorn numbers. With Brexit, there are no winners - trade, jobs, health care, tourism - nothing gets better, on the contrary.

And of course, a country in such a situation with so many new insights can take back a democratically made decision just as democratically again."
