Illuminating 72nd!

Took my friend out today to celebrate her 72nd birthday and strolling through some gardens south of Seattle in Lakewood area we saw this beautiful Madrona tree .  the little sunlight that peeked out today illuminated the bark on this tree.  It has a very reddish flaky bark and oftin is seen hanging over hillsides along where water is.  We had one in our back yard where we live that was dying and had to be taken down.  It's such a lovely tree so seeing the sun lighting up thie bark was a lovely sight!
   We took the walk after having lunch at a lovely littel tea house.  The extra is my friend, fellow blipper JohnSmiley's mom, blowing her 72  1 candle out:)
