Upwords

One way my brother in New Zealand and I stay connected is through playing Upwords online. We can sometimes play 'live' first thing in a morning or last thing at night or have moves waiting for us.

It is a game each of us used to play as a board game with our Mum but we discovered it after he had moved to New Zealand so we never played it as a threesome. But us playing each other also keeps us connected to her. She is the reason I love words and love learning. 

I'm looking forward to playing on a proper board when we visit him next month, probably over a glass of Baileys.
