Bridges across the river Lune

Had an astonishingly successful day, photographically. 30 keepers! Mostly street photographs but these two also came out rather well. The main picture is greyhound bridge which carries the northbound A6. It has recently reopened after months of refurbishment. It was formerly a railway bridge, and that's where my interesting facts run out. Picture two is of skerton bridge, completed in 1787. It is a grade ii listed scheduled monument and has been passed to carry vehicles weighing up to 40 tons!
