Coming And Going

At Queenstown
At last but thanks to the Southerly wind we missed the shuttle and scared the daylights out of a lovely American couple who had inquired on the plane as to wether NZ would consider making a takeover bid for the US. The Boss said he was busy this week.....
Queenstown airport has trouble in Southerlys sometimes with a thingie called ”wind shear” when it can be blowing a Northery up stairs and a Southerly on the ground and landings are occasionally exciting and nothing is confirmed until you feel the wheels hit the ground. Before then you can hear the engines run up as the pilot makes a decision to go round again. It can be very rough and exciting if you like that sort of thing but nobody really does and luckily it’s fairly rare.
The wheels hit the ground and all was well with the world except we had missed the shuttle to Wanaka by a mile so we stayed in the terminal and were entertained by the passing natives of various countries and The Boss took pics out the window.
Some hours later we arrived home and big T was in welcome mode so I have passed the pen to her from tomorrow.
See the extra.........ta ta for now...Tiny
