Hope

And what comes to my mind immediately is Pandora's Box (though it might originally have been an amphora).

    Today the USA remembers Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) who had this to say about hope: If you lose hope, somehow you lose the vitality that keeps life moving, you lose that courage to be, that quality that helps you go on in spite of it all. And so today I still have a dream. 

and: To be a Negro in America is to hope against hope.
