Daphne Flowering

In spite of cold and frost Daphne has opened her flowers.

I went to see Mary Queen of Scots this morning. Although I know it is not historically accurate I was moved by it. By the impossible tensions both Mary and Elizabeth were struggling to keep contained, by the blood of birth and menstruation that I've rarely seen in cinema.
