Not So Blue Monday

Today was supposedly the most depressing day of the year. Luckily there was a beautiful sunrise and I walked the dog on Brighton seafront as the frost glistened. This photo is of pillars originally from the West Pier, which is now derelict and slowly and gracefully falling into the sea. The pillars have been erected into a spiral shape on the promenade and are illuminated at night. Occasionally intrepid Parkour enthusiasts can be seen jumping from one to another.
