Watch The Birdie!

Another thing that is different about where we live now are the birds. In our previous garden in South West Scotland, vistors of the feathered variety were incredibly varied. I haven't actually managed to hang up any bird feeders here in Hellifield yet so haven't really attracted any birds into our garden 
The local birds seem to be mainly Starlings, Doves, Crows and Blackbirds. I'm finding it very interesting watching them and this week plan to put up some nest boxes and feeders as they will be hungry whilst in the breeding season. I'm looking forward to getting to know the locals! ;-)
