Creeping tree

I love the way the roots seem to flow from the tree trunk and wrap themselves around the rocks.
Went for a lovely woodland walk on the Wirral peninsular, complete with tea and apple cake at the farm cafe and a meal in the pub afterwards. A little gem of a place I didn’t know existed even though I’ve only lived less than 30 mins away for years!
