Day after the Blood Moon

Here the moon is setting behind the mountains when the sun was rising and giving the snow its magical alpenglow. This phenomenon does not happen very often and only in January or February, if you are lucky. I left home early to meet friends to go ski touring today, what a superb day's skiing, firstly uphill to get to the powder fields which were so perfect (see extra).
