Before the Rain....

We have had a day of contrasts weather-wise. A scorching hot day followed by heavy rain filled clouds this evening. It is predicted to rain overnight. Margaret and the girls, Emily and friend Emma departed, with laden car, for Picton and the ferry home to Wellington. I will miss them heaps. However my friend Rachel has arrived to stay a few days. We went for a swim to cool off late afternoon. The tides here are currently King Tides...... very very low or very high.
