Wintry day to test a new lens

What a lovely day! Yes, it was cold but the air was so clear! It was a great day to test a new lens. When I first started shooting with Pentax I had my kit lens and a weather resistant 50-200mm. As I progressed my lens desires changed and I sold the 50-200mm. I was dissatisfied with the results but when it was on eBay I had a nagging doubt. Move on 12 months and I was looking for another copy but they were all so expensive. 12 months later (yesterday) I finally got another copy. I calibrated the lens and today took it for a test drive. Having seen the pictures i now think my earlier dissatisfaction was down to my own inadequacies. You know what they say about a bad workman!
