Gypsum

Another blip for my geological collection... this time a cluster of gypsum crystals. A lot of the 3D detail is lost in the photo, but you can see the intersecting crystal faces, like sworls of petals on a flower-head. (best observed large)... I love the intricacy of it.... the more you know about science, the more fascinating it gets!
