next stage

The next stage for these beautiful roses is potpourri. They've looked gorgeous in a vase for about two weeks and now that the flowerheads are dry and crispy I thought I'd cut them off the stems and add some rose essence. I've done it before and they keep their colour for quite a while. Busy day on the sewing machine. Slow cooked pork for dinner. Cold and damp outside.
