Undergrowth in Dappled Light

More snow overnight and into the morning eventually gave way to a bit of sun producing dappled light across this brush and wind blown snow on the tree trunk. I waded around in about a foot of snow trying to be careful not to tread where I might want to shoot.

I'm finding it really hard to photograph in snow. It's so bright that when I look into the viewfinder, I can't see very well because it looks dim. Also, my knee got quite wet kneeling in the snow. Joys of winter photography!
