Koons' Puppy in Bilbao

(My computer is functioning again :)

Puppy (a 12 meter tall floral sculpture by Jeff Koons) is in the entrance plaza of the Guggenheim Museum, unfortunately looking dreary in the rain and fog (fog joined the rain in the afternoon today). Over midday we took the tram along Bilbao's river to the old town the center and its Mercado de la Ribera--the largest covered market in Europe.  The extra displays the magnificent window above its main entrance.   Supper was pasta at an excellent small restaurant, fortunately around the corner.  The rain may let up tomorrow, to see us off back to Paris tomorrow afternoon :(
