At Kilpeck: The curtain comes down! x

The wonderful Kilpeck Pantomine Society performed its last show of 2012 this evening. The sold out performance of Sleeping Beauty ran for four shows. The dedicated cast made up from mainly Kilpeckians and lead by director and writer Richard Thompson, for past 17 years. The audience feedback saying that this was his best yet! Its hard to believe that this is a once a year operation. The cast and crew alone are worthy of a screen play or book or film. The unity, friendship, and warm spirit is unique and is infectious to all in front and back of the stage.

This portrait of Nic Thompson, as 'Mammy' shares the lead role with his twin brother, Gareth, who played 'Chopper'. Their close relationship is shared on stage, and its wonderful to see and I think is the key to the success of the plays. They help each other in ad libbed lines......really a double act! Truly fantastic! x
