I’ve just finished an authorised biography of Paul McCartney - all 800 pages of it. It’s taken me a month or so but I thoroughly enjoyed the read - especially all the background to the early Beatles years. The word genius is overused these days but in my view rightly applies to McCartney. He’s right up there with the very best songwriters of all times.
