Haircut Day

Today was the day for Cosmo's haircut. It is something she does not enjoy in the least. Almost two hours of having to stand in one place being attacked with scissors and clippers, pulled this way and that. She takes the torture with her usual patience, but looks totally miserable. Still I gave her a treat when it was over, and she lay down to enjoy the treat and attempt to recover.

Before the haircut we had a walk, shorter than usual as it looked as though it was going to rain, and I did not want her getting wet before the haircut.

The picture was taken in the morning as we set off for the walk. More an exercise in photo processing than real. Artistic rather than realistic.
