Eastender

K has been trying to track down a copy of The Mystery of the Sea by Bram Stoker so we had one last try today at Foyles. Amazingly, they found a copy in print in the USA so they've ordered it and will contact me when it arrives.

Afterwards, we went to Shoreditch & Brick Lane. It was teeming down. 
We decided on Poppies and went in for fish & chips while I tried to explain Cockney rhyming slang (it's printed all over the restaurant as part of its decor), without success.
K had located a brewery and tap room that said it was selling Resistance Ale on behalf of the wildfire victims in California. So off we went to find it. No Resistance Ale as it was already out of stock but we felt good for trying to support the cause.
