A Meandering Life...

Flower Friday :: FF25_2019 :: Witch Hazel

The passion Tom Hart Dyke has for his plants is quiet infectious. There are 1000's of different types of plants around his World Garden at Lullingstone Castle and as each does their thing he is ecstatic and proud to show them off.

Here he wanted to show me the Witch Hazel (Hamamelis mollis) in full bloom and smelling wonderful. The fact I was there to do the photographing didn't stop him taking yet another of his own.

There's a lot of work going on to get ready for the re-opening in April. I've added an extra of some of the snowdrops.

I've added a few winter scenes at the garden on my Flickr page: https://www.flickr.com/photos/85782852@N05/with/46822962152/
