Mistake!

We knew that the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch was to be over 3 days this years.  We always take part so this morning we started.   Great idea apart from the fact it doesn't start until tomorrow.  We assumed Friday, Saturday & Sunday but no Saturday, Sunday & Monday.

What we do is watch for a number of hours over the days and send in the hour that is most representative of the normal situation in our garden.  How do you know what is normal I hear somebody thinking.  Well we are pert of the British Trust for Ornithology Garden Birdwatch.  Very like the RSPB but year round.

So thinking this was the first day of the RSPB watch we decided to blip birds.  By the time we realised our mistake it was too late to blip much else.   So here is a shot of the male of the species which was today's highest score.
