Red Camellia

I grew up in Ohio.  Went to college in Boston.  I thought winter was supposed to be cold white and flowerless.  Moved to Atlanta a few years after college and will never forget driving somewhere after xmas and wondering why people still left their xmas decorations -that  I thought were red bows -on their trees.  I finally had to get out of my car to see what those "bows" were.  I was truly shocked to realize they were beautiful flowers.  Camellia's.  I get joy  from them all winter, and of course we have planted some in our garden.  Blooming today even though the temperature hit 27degrees,  -2 celsius.
Thank you Biker Bear another blooming good Friday
