The Vege Patch

No blip today, so I resorted to the vege patch, and what did I find? A Pukeko lurking amongst the beans, silver beat and marigolds.

Can't eat him unfortunately; a. protected b. probably too stringy.

Continuing the airfares story from last night, the frenzy continued. Booked pretty much all my work fares for the coming winter. $39 to Auckland or Queenstown, $28 to Wellington. Hard to beat that.

And then we booked 2 weeks in Tonga in June, $130 each way, plus taxes. Oh boy, looking forward to that!

Anyway, back to reality. Off to Auckland tomorrow. Another brutally early start, and crappy weather up there. Might have to be an blip from 30 000 ft again ;-)
