I spent today waiting for a delivery.

The nice company sent me an e-mail with a picture of smiley-faced delivery man.  "I'll be delivering your parcel TODAY between 11:42 & 12:42" wrote the smiley-faced liar.

There was a link to click to see where the delivery van was.  It was just around the corner according to the map.  I could walk there in 5 minutes.  This was at 13:00.

2 hours later I thought I'd check again where the delivery man was.  He was back at the depot. And I'll be getting my parcel on Monday.

The Service Sector here really hasn't quite got the hang of the Service thing.

Tell me you're going to deliver something and I'm going to wait in because I know that if I leave the house for 10 seconds, your delivery driver will have delivered a "Sorry, you were out" note in exactly those 10 seconds.  It doesn't matter that someone else was actually in, I wasn't in...
