Portobello

We had an estimate to check in a cemetery to the east of Edinburgh and afterwards we decided to take a drive to Portobello.  I've never been there before and was surprised to see the beautiful historic buildings along the promenade, and I was surprised at the beach too, when the weather improves I'm going back for a swim.  The promenade and beach was surprisingly busy on such a miserable wet day, people walking dogs, playing with children, building sandcastles, cyclists, joggers, tourists, good to see.  This angler seemed at peace with the world.
