Well it did look better this morning . . .

Early this morning (about 10am) I spotted the sun on the trees the other side of the A15 towards Kirkby Underwood.  They looked quite spectacular and I thought they would make a good blip, so I popped down below to have a quick look at my emails, and an hour later ventured back up to the living room with the Tamron 150-600 (camera attached!).
 
Well I don’t know if an hour made that much difference, or if it just looked better with the naked eye, but the final result was not as good as I would have hoped.  As it’s now dark and near dinner time I’m afraid that’s it.  I suppose taken from over 700mtrs away you shouldn’t expect miracles.
