Etching

A well oiled machine saw me out at 8.30am on a trip to have new tyres and a visit for physio while Susan managed her mum to get her up and out of the house for a doctor’s appointment. Doesn’t sound very much but it requires precision logistics to get Doreen where she needed to be at the prescribed time. Helpful visit too, as helpful to Susan as it was for Doreen.

We all had a pleasant ride out to Paddock Wood for lunch and for us to order new settees for when the much awaited work on the house commences in a couple of weeks. First time Doreen has been properly out for a couple of weeks. I think she enjoyed it.

Today’s blip is of an etching in the cafe of Barsley’s department store. In all the years we’ve been in Kent (over 40 years now) we’d never heard of this place let alone visited it. Only a chance conversation about G Plan furniture put us on to the place.

The theme for MonoMonday was Origin, this has nothing to do with that. I just like it. Thanks for hosting Jensphotos.
