David Hume

Once again I needed a photo for monday. The theme for Mono Monday was Origin. I therefore ran up the mile to take a photo of the statue of David Hume, an eighteenth-century philosopher. His famous philosophical ideas and theories are on the subject of the origin of human nature, hence a suitable subject for the challenge. I have made the photo "not quite" monochome, i have kept the toe the original colour which has turned a gold colour - unlike the rest of the statue which is greeny-grey - as people consider it good luck to rub it.
