. . . the snow has covered all your footsteps

Light rain turned to sleet, turned to gentle snow, turned to heavy snow. 
A neighbour came across and left footprints, they were soon covered over. 

We had decided early on that going to Newcastle as planned was not a good idea, so we stayed at home and did a thing that we had long planned to do and never quite got around to . . . we sorted our entire (and huge) CD collection - yes we do still have CDs and we do still play them. Hopefully now we will be able to find again the ones we had forgotten about. The last time we did this was this number of years ago.
