Town Crier

This is Bridlingtons' Town Crier. He posed very nicely for me at the Old Town Dickensian Christmas Fayre, then promptly rang his bell and bellowed the news that the house behind him was open for viewing.

Old town is made up of largely Georgian houses now, but it dates back to medieval times. Many day trippers miss out on this hidden jewel, so if you ever come for the day or a stay, make sure that you pay it a visit.
