L'Autre

I was meaning to take a photo of a pussywillow blossom on our mantlepiece for "Tiny Tuesday", but through the lens I picked up this great optical illusion of the woman in a poster on our wall behind, so I decide to focus on her instead. She seems to be peering out of the forest of pussywillow branches.

The poster is for an Egyptian film called "L'Autre" in French, by Youssef Chahine. We didn't actually see the film when it opened in Cairo, even though we lived there at the time. Gill was inspired the other day to get it on DVD, but we still haven't watched it!
