Partners in grime

I prefer to see sheep grazing on grass - well, that is after all the meaning of 'graze' - but these sheep all had their heads down feeding and seemingly finding plenty to eat. They're always surrounded by gulls - perhaps the sheep's plodding brings worms to the surface? Was rather pleased when I found I'd caught one gull on the ground, one coming in to land, and one in flight.

We woke to a dusting of snow. Experienced one feeble five minute attempt at snowfall, since when we've enjoyed bright sunshine and blue skies. Had a lovely walk round the local lanes. I do like crisp sunshine better than grey rain. Sadly, the gales are forecast to return tomorrow.
