Fieldfare in the garden...

We had a little snow last night and the outdoor thermometer showed a min of -5ºC so quite chilly this morning...

This Fieldfare pitched up in the garden to help itself to the apples we store to put out for the birds... Fieldfares are real bully boys (or girls) they quite aggressively defend a food source from all comers and this one is no exception.  Fortunately there is enough space and apples for the other birds to get a look in.
