Kindred

I learnt today that one of the crew of Sea Watch 3, who rescued 47 migrants from the Mediterranean Sea 12 days ago, is the cousin of one of my colleagues. Degrees of separation and all that. Again. And now you're only one step more distant than I am.

The boat was finally allowed to dock yesterday.
