PAINTED FLOWERS

My entry for the Flower Friday Challenge. It is a detail from a painting made by Marjolein Juray. It hangs in our little diningroom, so we see it every day.

This afternoon we walked in the forest behind our house. That had been a long time since we went there. We love the quietness, the fresh air, and the sight of the silent trees, towering above us.
No animal did appear, but we heard the birds sing their beautiful songs.
All day the sun shone, for some time I was in the garden removing more dead leaves.
