Reprieve

For Maddie that is, not the blackbird.  Took her along to the vets all ready with plans for how the day would unroll with her op.  H came out looking very apologetic and said she'd have to cancel as the pipes were frozen and they had no water.  Threw me slight but have to admit am relieved at putting off looking after a frustrated collie.

Very sorry to hear about Jeremy Hardy, he wasn't just a comedian
