Lysløyper

All towns in Norway have their own lysløype - lit trail - so that in the winter months you can still get out into the forest and ski.

You might ask what's wrong with a headtorch? I think the lysløype is a little less daunting than being on your own in the forest with nothing but a small lit spot in front of you and darkness all around.

Borrowed a pair of skis from a friend so now I can go and enjoy all the pisted trails much more easily - and with fewer angry looks - than running on the edge of them.
