The Sorrento Hotel

I needed to pick up a contact lense this afternoon on pill hill. It is where hospitals and medical offices are congregated. I passed this hotel on my walk back down. It is where my mom and dad had their wedding reception about 68 years ago. It is still a beautiful building. I put another view in the extras. They have remodeled some of the inside which has destroyed some of the charm but much of it is still intact. So happy it is Friday evening. The groundhog breakfast celebration was wonderful. In addition to crumpets and jelly and pancakes and waffles and cookies we had some maple syrup aged in a bourbon cask. Very nice kick to it. I think Bill Murray would approve.
