Starfish....

Very special to see Starfish! But sadly 100s have been washed up on Southsea beach... Apparently they have done this for the past few years.

I had a Google. Seems they can get dislodged from the sea bed by either strong currents due to stormy weather. Disease. Or due to man dredging sea beds disturbing them. They can't hold on and float away with the tide and end up on ours shores.
