Still life

I was inspired by a number of other blippers' still life shots of fruit and veg, so I thought I'd give it a go. 

We were in Al Amin, a fantastic international grocery on Mill Road in Cambridge, last night, and I couldn't resist picking up these purple sweet potatoes, thinking of the still life I wanted to set up.

We're eating them as sweet potato chips with an otherwise Japanese meal of Daisy's homemade cucumber roll sushi, grilled teriyaki salmon and cabbage salad.
