RSS Discovery and The V&A Dundee

Mr H and I went for a wander around Dundee. 
The V&A is a stunning building (you can just see it behind the ship) but I preferred the tour round Capt Scott's ship Discovery. It's amazing what they went through in the name of science. I hadn't realised that Ernest Shackleton was part of Scott's crew - although he got sent home early due to illness. It also amazes me that even though they suffered quite badly during this trip, almost losing the boat. Capt Scott made the decision to return to Antarctica a couple of years later. Unfortunately he didn't return from that trip.
