Rembrandt challenge

No walking for us today. Bert wasn't feeling well and my foot had signs of overload. We stayed home.
I have been reading about Rembrandt and tried to draw some portraits. It's the Rembrandt year and much attention is paid to his work in the Netherlands. There is also a competition online for (amateur) painters. The assignment for this competition is to paint a portrait of a Dutch news presenter in the style of Rembrandt.
I find it quite a challenge to deepen myself. Whether I will participate depends on my result. In the blip a study in charcoal. Exercise in Claire Obscure.
