Inkling

On Friday 20th January 1961 John F Kennedy was sworn in as the 35th President of the United States of America. He had arrived!
Exactly two weeks later I began to breath independently, and so I had also arrived, if in a slightly less noticeable manner as far as the wider world was concerned.
But in our family home my arrival was a far bigger deal than his was.
Even though I have outlived him, his memory will never be forgotten, whereas most likely mine shall.
