Shingle

This isn’t the best photo I took today, but does show the shingle bank on the left back to the green. Mr L saw trucks and strange vehicles on Friday at the beach, but it wasn’t until today that we realised just how much shingle had been put there to strengthen the sea defences. That was a mammoth hike back to dry land.

Today I cooked the breakfast (not normally my job), cooked off two huge potfuls of soups for the freezer, and cooked the roast dinner! Not sure I’m keen on this role reversal!
