South African Giraffe

Every day in the bush is an unique experience anywhere in Africa. We enjoyed each of our two game drives and saw so many species of animals. This evening was our first time to have a night game drive. We stopped halfway through and had a happy hour in the middle of a creek and watch the sun set. Afterwords we had an African Bush cookout that was amazing. It was hard to pick out my favorite moment of the day. Was it the kingfisher diving for a fish or a golden wildebeest baby nursing or the band of monkeys that we spied or our bush barbecue? The South African Giraffe won the special moment. These gentle creatures are always fascinating to watch. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful day on Safari. Looking forward to another adventure tomorrow.
