Icy pavements.

Hundreds of oystercatchers on the surf line.

White smoke trailing north east from North Berwick. (A Twitter search identified the source as a large hotel in the town with everyone safely evacuated.)

Work at home. Lunchtime haircut as T went to a concert at Reid Concert Hall. As the rain set in I went to a business meeting in Inverleith which went very well.

Later I walked to the local station to pick up my train tickets for tomorrow.
