Swing

Every year about this time I walk down the lower Ouse valley from Lewes to the church of St Peter in the hamlet of Southease to see the display of snowdrops.  This morning I set off in low cloud and mist so thick that the South Downs, less than half a mile away, were completely invisible. However this year the snowdrops are comparatively sparse - perhaps due to  last year's drought. Instead of snowdrops I've blipped the restored swing bridge over the Ouse with the rising tide. Last year's snowdrops are here:  https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2279292633652134963
